What do people wear to day dances at lindy exchanges?
In both Florida (ORLX) and South Carolina (CHEX), the day dances were held at a park and we danced under a covered pavilion. The floor was concrete, so I would recommend keds or basically…not your favorite dance shoes. I sometimes wear cute flats that I can swivel in.
Clothingwise, sundresses are good or casual skirts if you are so inclined. Some of the men wear cargo shorts or jean shorts because it’s hot outside, as do some of the ladies. T-shirts are probably best since it’s an outdoor venue and therefore not air conditioned…so overly frilly fabric will be too hot.
Lets make fun of them.
1.) Not actually lindy, I propose a campaign called, “where’s the swingouts.”
